Check out our new Web featuring Live Update of our tap list. It is in beta but soon to be link to our web: http://www.chuckshopshop.com
Hello Chuckleheads! This is just a brief notice to let you know that our website might be down and/or a bit wonky on and off over the next few days as we try to change it into a more mobile-friendly format! Basically we’re aiming to make the taplist and the food truck schedule be the first things you see when you look at the site on a mobile device, instead of having to scroll through all of our posts before you can see them. So please bear with us, and hopefully the new website will be an improvement!
Hello Hop Shoppers,
This Wednesday July 24th from 6:00-9:00pm join us for another Good Cause Beer Tasting. This time we’ve invited our friends at the Washinton Community Alliance for Self-Help. C.A.S.H provides the hands-on education, in-depth support, and access to capital needed to launch and grow successful small enterprises. Greg Bye of Streetzeria was a member of their program. Now is our chance to give back to the organization that helped him become one of our favorite food vendors. We will also have Epic Brewing out of Salt Lake City, Utah. We’re featuring Hopulent IPA (Nitro), Spiral Jetty IPA, Capt’n Crompton’s Pale Ale and a TBD beer out of their Brainless series.
July 31st from 4:00-7:00pm We’ll be hosting a release party for Elysian’s Oddland Series #2. We should have some VIP guests from Elysian answering questions and passing out swag. We will be featuring 6 draft beers complete with flights of four 4oz pours. (Price/Beers TBD)
Oddland Spiced Pear Ale is brewed with pears, Northwest premium 2-row and German Cara-hell malts, bittered with German Northern Brewer and finished with Yakima Cascade and Czech Saaz hops. Cumin and cardamom give it a heady and exotic touch, offsetting a drinkable and refreshing beer of 6.25% alcohol by volume.
We also just started an instagram @Chuckshopshop. Follow us and keep track of new bottles, special events and store happenings.
Hello Hop Shoppers,
Join us tonight July 10th from 6pm-8pm for another Good Cause Beer tasting. We have invited Logsdon Farmhouse Ales to pour four of their finest. We will have the Kili Wit, Seizoen, Seizoen Bretta and the Oaked Bretta. In addition to the charity tasting we are going to pour up Logsdon flights for $14.00, a steal for these world class beers. The charity we will be raising funds for is New Dawn Guatemala.
“New Dawn Guatemala” is a new local nonprofit to help Nuevo Amanecer, a community of repatriated refugees in Guatemala. Our mission is to support Nuevo Amanecer (New Dawn in Spanish) by providing scholarships, educational exchanges, and helping develop an independent, sustainable economy.
Do you like extremely limited bourbon aged imperial porters? July 17th we’re tapping Deschutes Black Butte XXIV and XXV! Make sure to arrange an alternative mode of transportation ’cause these big beers are certain to get you tossed.
From the label of XXV “Dates, figs and chocolate, black currants, Barrel-aged in bourbon casks. The result is an Imperial Porter with a tart berry and chocolate aroma with luscious layers of dried fruit, oak and vanilla. A fitting tribute to the 25th anniversary of our flagship beer.”
Today we will be open our regular hours of 10:00am-12:00am. The Grilled Cheese Experience will be in the house from 1:00-6:00pm. We have some great summer beers on tap so stop by before the festivities kick off.
Hello Hop Shoppers,
We are proud to announce that July 3rd we’ll be hosting a blind IPA tasting. For $4 you will get four 4oz pours of the mystery single IPAs. After we tally the votes we’ll announce the participants and rankings on our Facebook.
We just added 4 additional tables to our patio and in true Seattle fashion the forecast is for rain. We still have a ton of tasty summer beers in the shop though. These are a few of our favorites, but there are numerous others in the stock.

Burnside Lime Kolsch
10 Barrel Swill
